Do You Wish To Settle Your Children Abroad or Stay With You?
It was a tea time discussion among us, when one of our senior doctor colleague started a new thread. She was getting a mixed bout of feelings when she shared her thoughts with us. These thoughts were further evoked brain storming when I visited many villages and small towns of Rajasthan and found that this is something which really needed our attention. Her daughter was getting a scholarship to Singapore and she was supposed to join the said institution after her studies, that meant that her daughter would be gone out of her sweet home for about a decade, if not less! Now, my colleague feared that once her daughter would be out of this country, she might never return to her as most of the young generation kids do.
