Wish. Mannat. Dua. Have you ever tried making a wish and realizing it getting true. Even that not so happening wishes for ice cream or your new iPod or for that oh so nice person in your life! People visit temple, mosque, church, gurudwara and whatnot. All the places are the same to me. You know, why? Because they make your wishes come true. But how? When we say we are part of nature and God is our own depiction then how come people visit different places of worship and still realize their wish or mannat. Why we have different gods in our hearts; we seek differently things; we believe in different belief systems but still we realize our individual wish or mannat fulfilled. Why? Does it prove there is a Supreme that can make wishes come true? Maybe, yes. I have also tried it once in my school days. I always wondered, what all they do in a meditation class. I attended a couple of meditation and prayer sessions around the neighborhood or on request of some of my relatives but this was different today. Before I share what happened today, I am compelled to share the extremities of what I have seen in earlier meditation sessions.  MAD HATTERS' TEA PARTY  The one I attended a few years back in my neighborhood left me amused. It was kind of a huge kitty party thing. Everyone was so decked up with makeup and jewelry and designer wear to outshine each other.  There we had that praying in worst of our voices but that also kind of parody of some kind. Everybody wants to be rich.  It seems everybody wants to be rich in future. In a distant 'some day'... If I tell you that you don't have to wait for that 'some day' to be rich, to feel rich and to act rich, then? You don't believe? This is not hoax. I'm not talking out of nothing. It is here and now. It's an irony of today's times.  Girls are nurtured, educated, motivated to be career oriented but when it comes to be in marital bliss, they are given hordes of advice, apprehensions and sometimes unwanted support. I do agree that to settle in a new environment of a new home, they need emotional and motivational support but sometimes doting parents forget the line of their care and affection. INITIALLY EVERYTHING IS HUNKY DORY. Change may cause initial inconvenience and could be full of surprises and shocks, but gradually our mind adapts and defends what is unacceptable. There are a number of emotional messages going around the social media and we all forward and feel so good about those 'precious daughters messages'. It's so nice to see people care so much for their daughters and it's for good change in mind set. It's good but the hypocrisy starts when that strong, well educated daughter is married off. One o...

You don't love me now! Well, alright...accept it.  If you are a man, you would have heard it many times and if you are a woman, you would have uttered or at least had such thoughts many times. If not, then congratulations, you are from some other planet! Beware, get alerted and set your alarms high if ever, next time you even think such words, or your spouse even mentions them. They can wreck your mental peace, relationship and serenity.  So, what do these words exactly mean? Though, it can be a man as well who may have such thoughts.  But, generally, women express themselves before venturing out for a new love.  Whereas, men just escape to greener pastures or get themselves involved somewhere to shut such thoughts to never let them out. This request I make out of my compassion for all the women, who strive day in and day out to make this world a lovable and livable place.  I know, how hard it is, to keep all strings of life together, to keep everyday a sane perspective, look calm and collected, amidst the tempest of life, as soon as the day begins. gettyimages I am compelled to write this post because I have seen enough of pain and stress women take.  Life is full of mistakes but this year let's resolve to find out if you are a trap to any of these?  If you know someone like her, then show encouragement and share some kind words to motivate her to achieve her purpose in life.
